SS Technical Services is an information-driven and customer-focused company. Biographies of key staff:

Dr. Surendra Singh obtained his Ph.D. in Ultrasound in Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India and has ASNT (ACCP) Level III in UT. Before forming SS Technical Services in April 2003, Surendra worked for Sperry Rail Service, United Technology Company (UTC), Timken Company, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), and Louisiana State University Medical Center. He is a member of ASNT, BINDT, ASTM and the Biomedical Society and a fellow of the Academy of Dental Materials and has published more than 80 technical papers, 3 book chapters and has 3 patents.



Dr. Robin Clark obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University College London (UK) and his MBA from Western Connecticut State University (USA). He started working at Rolls Royce and Associates in Derby, UK before moving to British Rail in 1991. Specializing in NDE and Technical Management, Robin moved to Sperry Rail Service in Danbury, CT, USA in 1995 where he became Vice President – Engineering. Robin is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Aston University in Birmingham, UK. Robin is a Chartered Engineer, MIMechE, MInstNDT, a member of ASNT and a Certified MBA. Robin has published over 30 papers from his Ph.D. work on electromagnetic techniques to his more recent work on NDT in the rail industry and holds 3 patents.
