Pressure Tech- Home Analyser / Instrument Regulators From gas cylinder regulators to ATEX certified (94/9/EC) heated regulators, our versatile range of instrumentation regulators have endured extensive cycle tests and include design features that make us the market leaders in this sector. High Pressure Regulators An extensive range of piston sensed regulators control pressures up to 690bar (10,000psi) via a range of precision machined sensors. The range covers 1/4" to 1"connections, with designs for both gas and hydraulic service, and flow capacities from Cv 0.1 to 7.0. Process & High Flow Systems The DM range of regulators covers high flow requirements with a range of regulators from 1/2" to 8". Manufactured in deep drawn stainless steel, these regulators are aimed at the process industry covering pressures from 2mbar to 350bar. Pressure Tech have developed the FC-301 Flow control valve following a request from a major oil company in California to replace their existing valve, which was proving unreliable on their critical analyser A further example the LF-690 hydraulic regulators installed on a subsea wellhead control panel built by Hydratron Limited. The Panel was built for a well known contractor in Houston and is expected to be followed by further similar requirements. The regulators, which are rated to 15,000psi inlet, were supplied with 3/8" Medium Pressure Connections. systems.The valve is principally a negative biased back pressure regulator designed to maintain a constant flow irrespective of downstream pressure fluctuations. The negative bias provides a constant differential pressure across the orifice ensuring a constant flow rate - set by a needle valve installed on the inlet.
