Jupiter Aluminum Jupiter Aluminum will resume operations this summer. The progress in the plant reconstruction is fantastic and we are still on schedule for a restart this Summer. The enormous work produced by our contractors and employees will allow Jupiter to restart faster than what you would usually see for the reconstruction of an aluminum plant. Actually, less than 7 months after the fire, the commissioning of the equipment has already started on the hot line and will soon start on the cold mills. The erection of the main building is on its way and should be completed around the end of the Summer. In the meantime, production will be done in the temporary structures that were built back in January. ?Jupiter has kept paying its workers after the payroll insurance ended. We paid them with Jupiter?s own money because we care about what happens to our workers, just like we got the insurance which protected them after the fire? said our CEO Dietrich Gross. Jupiter remains dedicated to its market and customers whom we have kept servicing as well as we could since the fire last November.
