Electromark - electromarking or electro-etching equipment, supplies and accesories The International Marking Group or I.M.G. of Utica, Inc., is the original Electromark Company founded in 1951, and one of the originators of the electromarking or electro-etching process. Electromarking is a marking method based on an electro chemical process, one that puts permanent marks on conductive metal surfaces. The image created on a stencil is transferred to an electrically conductive surface by the action of electrolyte and electricity. In some ways electromarking is a simplified application of the theory of electroplating. You can create either a black or dark mark on AC with most metals, or a deeper mark that is white or frosted on DC with most metals. Electromarking is simple, fast, safe and economical.
