Crystal Engineering - Digital Pressure Gauges and Calibrators home | company | products | downloads | contact us Pressure calibration used to involve delicate and careful measurements with manometers or deadweight testers. This was never practical or reliable in the field. So Crystal Engineering developed digital pressure calibrators and digital pressure gauges that are easy to use, reliable and accurate for field pressure calibration use. Our core technology is based on MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) pressure transducers. These silicon based sensors are highly repeatable, but sensitive to temperature, and somewhat non-linear. Combine silicone pressure sensors with digital signal processing techniques, and the result is very accurate pressure measuring equipment that’s very linear, and not affected by temperature. Our products are very accurate. So accurate that our specifications are in percent of reading (just like most digital multimeters) instead of a percent of the rated pressure range (like mechanical pressure gauges). What does this mean to you? It means any one of our digital pressure gauges , or pressure calibrators , can replace several ordinary gauges or competitive calibrators.
