ATS, Inc. has been serving the semiconductor industry since 1978. ATS, Inc. was the first company to pass the Factory Mutual #4922 duct test—we obtained FM #4922 approval in 1981. Even before then, we were the first company to supply Fairchild with fire safe ducts in the late 1970s! We are the first company to test and pass the Factory Mutual #4910 test, obtaining FM #4910 approval in 1998. ATS, Inc. offers innovation in product technology, drawing on over 25 years experience. Since 1990, we have offered ATS 4910CR ™ (formerly Mark VIII ™ ) duct for use in semiconductor cleanrooms—this product offers a proven track record of high corrosion resistance. In 1993, we introduced ATS ChemBond ™ resin for joining composite ducts without the need for sanding. In 1999, we introduced the only FM-approved conductive duct, StaticSafe ™ , which allows installation without the need to ground each joint. In 2003, ATS introduced the ATS H-Collar ™ joining system, which allows contractors to install ATS duct without the need to do exterior wrapping of joints.
