Intercon Energy LLC offers all means of NDT and engineering services to customers carrying businesses in Turkey and the areas in the vicinity. Company’s Non-Destructive Testing Laboratories are located in Pendik, Istanbul and numerous mobile NDT teams are currently located at construction sites across the country. Intercon has two branch office located in Kazanli, Mersin and Suleimania, Iraq. Our company is capable and well-known of delivering fast, reliable and prompt NDT services to our customers.
As of today, our company became proficient in performing Heat Treatment applications and Non-Destructive Testing methods (i.e. Radiographic Inspection (both X-Ray and Gamma Ray), Ultrasonic Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Liquid Penetrant Inspection) on mainly weld seams and various materials such as, forgings, cast irons, and non-metallic materials, complying with the requirements of applicable codes, standards and regulations.
All NDT inspections is performed, evaluated and reported by our qualified and certified NDT technicians . In addition to Non-Destructive Testing, Intercon Energy offers welding engineering services for our customers. Some of these engineering services are; supervision and certification of Welding and Welder/ Welding Operator qualification tests, and destructive testing of test pieces; preparation and approval of WPS, PQR and Welder/ Welding Operator certificates according to ASME, EN or any other applicable codes; real-time follow up of welders/ welding operators and welds during manufacturing processes.
Project based quality management is another field in which intercon offers proficient services. Quality management covers interpretation of technical documentation and blue prints, preparation of quality plans, and even training quality personnel on behalf of our customers.
As an extension of quality management services, Intercon provides specialized technical personnel suitable for spesific projects.
We also employ certified API 653, API 570 inspectors and certified ASME inspectors holding ASME "A" and "N" endorsements for boilers- pressurized vessels and nuclear facilities, respectively.
Monitoring and reporting of pre-heating and stress relieving processes are performed by our proficient personnel in heat treatment applications.
Intercon Energy implements and follows work instructions and company procedures prepared in accordance with laws, regulations, ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and other relevant standards, in all activities. Intercon Energy became registered as ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System holder under the supervision of Bureau Veritas. Our company is also recognized as accredited service provider by Turk Lloydu since 2008.
