December 2017 to Present: Film (X-Ray) Interpreter, Precision Castparts Corp. Portland, OR

• Visually Interpret & Evaluate film radiographs of castings to determine using customer specifications and company standards. Mark & Route all castings needing repair.
• Using Part Specific Tech Cards to interpret all castings and acceptable/reject criteria
• Visually evaluate radiographs; evaluate density changes to identify casting or welding discontinuities.
• Interpret and identify surface discontinuities.
• Review weld maps to ensure all welds have been radiographed
• Completed FUJIFILM Digital Radiography II Training Class successfully on 1-26-2018

June 2016 to December 2017: Dimensional Inspection, Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, Oregon City, OR

• Responsible for performing dimensional inspection of orthopedic castings to the tech card entering inspection test results on paper test report or EXCEL spreadsheet
• Inspect castings using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, height gage, pin gauges, box gauges, feeler gauges and countless other customer/company gauges and measuring instruments

• X-Ray of round steel pipe (welds) and UT test pipe ends (checking for laminations)
• Review X-Ray for any defects using API & Company standards (using digital radiography)
• GAUSS test pipe ends for high magnetism

August 2009 to May 2013: NDT RT II & UT II, United Spiral Pipe, Pittsburg, CA (Closed – Assets sold to EVRAZ)

• X-Ray of round steel pipe (welds) and UT test pipe ends (checking for laminations)
• Review X-Ray for any defects using API & Company standards (using digital radiography)
• Run GE UT automated machine on steel skelp (used prior to the forming process)
