Duties & Responsibilities
Establishment of PQR to suite Project requirements.
Preparation of PQR& WPS documents. Qualifying of welders. Verification of inward materials, Implementation of welding parameters on job.
Supervising the welding activities and co ordinates with TPI & NDT contactors.
Painting inspection involved : Incoming paint materials and abrasives inspection, Surface preparation before and after inspection, Surface profile after blasting, Paints mixing ratio and Pot life, WFT and DFT verified according to requirements, Visual and Holiday test witness, Adhesion test witnessed according to ASTM/ISO Standards
Interpretation of Radiography films as per project specifications.
Preparation inspection reports, Preparation of hydro test packages. Checking/witnessing of hydrostatic testing. Mechanical clearances. Preparation of final dossiers.

• Maritime industrial services at Sharjah (UAE ). Client :Chiyoda –Foster Wheeler for Qal-hat LNG Project -Oman Deputed as a Client inspector. The fabrication includes welding of pipes of diameter 30”, 72” and 84” and internal and external painting inspection. • Almutha Contracting Company, Client- Qatar Petroleum Deputed as client inspector. The work included fabrication and Painting inspections, review of Material Certificates, all work procedures, witnessing welding procedure qualifications, welder qualifications, review of NDT Reports, Final Punch list preparation, Witnessing of Dimensional survey and sign-off of documents such as As builts, Welding /material tractability and Data Dossiers.

• Qatar Vinyl Company In-charge of plant inspection of Cracking furnace (XX140001) fabrication, welding of pipes, preparation of WPS and conducting Welder qualifications, verify fit up and dimensions, review of radiographs, witness penetrant test .witness the hydro test, and sign-off of documents such as As built, Welding /material tractability and Data Dossiers.

• QAFAC Mesaied Qatar. Deputed as client plant inspector Carried out visual inspection, dye penetrant test, UT Thickness survey, review of RT films, witness hydro tests for heat exchangers at Methanol and MTBE, Visual inspection of sea water return and supply pipe lines and witness of box up. Witnessed reformer tubes creep gauge measurement and creep bonding for flanges.Corrossion survey was carried out on storage tanks and spheres and pipe lines.

• Madina Groups W.L.L.Doha Qatar .(ISO & ASME Approved) Preparation and conducting Welding procedures, welder qualifications, preparation of inspection and test plans, consumable control procedure, hydro test, and weld repair procedures .Inspection and Quality surveillance of pipe welding and painting on various jobs in onshore and offshore like catwalk platforms, internal ceramic coats on 4” pipes. Co-ordination for RT & interpretation of radiographs, preparation of hydro test package before test and final project complete dossiers.
