FAIRFIELD, OH; OCTOBER 1, 2024: Professional NDE Services Group, LLC (PNDE), a recognized leader in Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) / Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services, announces the promotion of Sean Heitman to Field Service and Sales Manager. In this position, Sean is responsible for scheduling, directing field service operations, and growing the company’s list of customers. He takes over for PNDE co-founder, Glen Wood who recently announced his retirement.
Sean began his career in the industry in 1996 and has built a resume that establishes him as one of the industry’s most knowledgeable NDE/NDT professionals. He possesses an ASNT Level 3 certification in MT, PT, RT and VT methods. In addition to being an AWS Certified Weld Inspector, Sean is an Authorized Inspector in accordance with API-510, 570, and 653.
In 2007 Sean left the NDE/NDT service industry to pursue a career at Dow Corning/Dow as a Mechanical Integrity Specialist. In this role he oversaw all pressure vessel and storage tanks inspections at the company’s Kentucky site. Later he was elevated to global inspection SME over NDE/API, traveling the globe to help various Dow sites with inspections and training. Sean has extensive knowledge in all metals/non-metal’s inspections including plastics, fiberglass, tantalum, glass, and brick. Sean joined PNDE Services in 2023.
