The Australian Institute for Non Destructive Testing was formed in 1973 from an incorporated
body, the Non Destructive Testing Association of Australia which was established in 1967.
Since this time it has grown with Branches in Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales
and Queensland, and has a membership in excess of 650.
AINDT aims to provide members, industry and the community with an independent
and professional level of service in relation to the science and practice of
non?destructive testing.
Objectives
- Promote the discipline of non destructive testing as a profession
- Advance the practices and benefits of non destructive testing on national
and international levels.
- Facilitate the exchange of information between members industry and the
community.
- Provide services for the certification of non destructive testing personnel.
- Facilitate and promote non destructive testing research and development
and the application of non destructive testing technology.
- Provide non destructive testing literature and educational materials.
