Founded in 1997, the spirit of K2 was inspired by the
Himalayan mountain of the same name that above all else,
symbolises difficult access, exceptional teamwork and a
requirement for technical excellence.
Today, K2 provides an integrated range of asset integrity,
engineering support, training and technology-based solutions
to the oil, gas and marine industries throughout the world.
Our service portfolio is subdivided into 3 categories:

Operating from our headquarters in Singapore, K2 employs
over 200 employees and has several support offices in key
strategic locations such as the UAE, Korea and China.
In 2007, K2 became a member of the Velosi Group of
companies. This has enabled us to provide services and
support to our clients on a truly global level. The Velosi
Group, founded in 1982, provides quality assurance and
quality control services to a number of leading national and
multinational oil and gas companies. The Group operates
globally through 4 principal offices in the US, UK, Malaysia
and the UAE, and has operational or representative offices
in a further 30 countries worldwide. In 2006, Velosi Ltd was
listed on the London AIM stock market. Today, it continues
to expand its global operations through strategic
acquisitions and strong operational management.
