International Inspections is seeking a Carded Assistant or Radiographer with ASNT IRRSP Card or State Radiation Safety Card for their busy office near Los Angeles (Santa Fe Springs). This location primarily provides Concrete "X-Ray" Radiography supporting Tenant Improvement Projects in high rise buildings prior to contractors drilling holes or coring holes to run new plumbing and electrical between floors. This location also supports fab shops providing radiography of welds to all codes such as ASME, AWS, Mil-Std.

Full time plus overtime opportunity depending on projects. This shop prides itself on getting it done right the first time. Looking for candidates with decent and relevant experience in all NDT methods. We strive to get our employees OJT in all methods and certified Level II in multiple methods during the course of their employment. Pay rates start at $25/hr for entry level and can be as high as $40 for experienced Level II Techs DOE and Certs.

Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions:

Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.

Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.

Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.

Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.

Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.

Skills:
Minimum: Requirements/Qualifications:

NDT Assistants/Trainees High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Applicants with documented prior NDT classroom training or OJT with strong interest in RT related NDT as well as other methods highly encouraged to apply.

NDT Level II Technicians Meet the minimum requirements of a Level II Technician; provide documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method(s); have a working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to report issues and solve problems.

MUST HAVE State Radiation Safety or IRRSP card.
