TechCorr USA Management, LLC is currently seeking experienced Level II Technicians proficient in RT, MT, PT, UTT and VT. This position will support our company’s ongoing commitment in providing our customers the highest quality related services throughout our growing operations in North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Colorado. A minimum of three (3) years’ background and experience performing code related non-destructive testing and inspection in the petrochemical, power generation and or industrial field’s is preferred for applicants of this position. Additional Certifications in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic Inspection and Visual Inspection are desired.

Good communication, technical writing skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere are required for potential candidates.

This is an hourly/non-exempt position which offers a competitive benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and more (available after 90-day evaluation period). Option for 401k enrollment available after 12 months of service.

Example of Responsibilities:
• Candidate will report to our Williston, ND office and be dispatched for work
• Actively participate in TechCorr USA MGMT LLC and Client safety programs
• Perform radiographic operations in accordance with TechCorr USA Management, LLC Operating and Emergency Procedures and regulatory requirements to be determined by jurisdiction of locality.
• Monitor and maintain control of radiographic equipment at all times
• Maintain surveillance of posted boundaries to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering while radiographic equipment is present
• Make required notifications to appointed personnel in the event of a safety incident or concern
• Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment
• Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct any of the required NDE methods (RT/ MT/ PT/ UTT/VT) tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable codes/specifications and evaluate results
• Interpret Inspection findings
• Organize and report test results
• Fill out daily inspection reports
• May perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Skills:
Education and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college or technical schooling
• Must provide proof of completion of successful classroom certification training meeting CP-189/SNT TC-1-A curriculum requirements (training affidavits & certificate summary’s will not be accepted)
• Certified Level II RT, CR, MT, PT, UTT, VT is a plus
• Computed radiography certification, training, or experience highly recommended for candidates of this position
• 40-hour radiation health & safety certificate
• Must meet criteria of being certified as trustworthy and reliable as identified by the NRC in 10 CFR Part 37
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must possess a valid and current Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
• Film Interpretation – knowledge of welding processes & discontinuities found in each
• Applicable agreement state card or Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel (IRRSP)
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as ongoing compliance with company substance abuse policy
• Must be active (non-excluded) from any 3rd party drug and alcohol testing consortiums (i.e., OSCA, Pipeline Testing Consortium, DISA etc.)
• Candidate will be subject to pre-employment drug/ alcohol screening as well as continuous drug/alcohol screens as required by 3rd party and regulatory requirements.
• Pass company NDE testing requirements (general, specific, and practical examinations)
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
• Moving, carrying, lifting, objects in excess of 50 lbs.
• Climbing and working from ladders, stairs, and scaffolding in excess of 100 ft.
• Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and cold
• Work in and near industrial hazards
