NDT UT Level 2
Position Overview
An NDT Level 2 technician is expected to possess the skills and knowledge necessary to set up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and interpret, evaluate, and document results following procedures approved by a responsible Level 3, in line with applicable codes, specifications, and standards. A Level II technician should be well-versed in the scope and limitations of the test method and is responsible for the on-the-job training (OJT) and guidance of trainees and Level 1 personnel.
Education and Work Experience
• Holds current ASNT Certification in Ultrasonic Testing Level II.
• Holds current NAS-410 Certification.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green card holder to inspect US Military and DOD Part.
• Has previous experience and a thorough familiarity with the relevant departmental field experience.
• Able to maintain company certification standards.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.

Skills:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate them for acceptance or rejection.
- Gain familiarity with the limitations of the technique/method.
- Conduct system performance checks in accordance with the process standard.
- Understand the codes, standards, and contractual documents that govern the methods.
- Be prepared to train and certify as an NDT Level 3.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of the relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.
