The AUT C Scan Operator will be responsible for the following actions/tasks:

•Operate and maintain Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) equipment to conduct inspections according to established procedures.

•Perform C Scan inspections on welds, pipes, structures, and other components using advanced ultrasonic techniques in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.

•Set up scanning parameters, calibrate equipment, and verify proper functionality before inspections.

•Adhere to quality control procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

•Interpret and evaluate ultrasonic data to detect defects, discontinuities, and anomalies.

•Generate detailed inspection reports summarizing findings, including defect locations, sizes, and other relevant data.


•Collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure inspection results meet quality standards and project requirements.

•Maintain accurate records of inspections, equipment calibration, and maintenance activities.

•Manage long term projects effectively and professionally by communicating with customer/client representatives and management to effectively meet established deadlines.

•Participate in training programs to stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in radiographic testing.

•Responsible for guidance and on-the-job training of trainees and assistants in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures, and the company's written practice.
Skills:
Qualifications
Required

•Certification in UTT (A-Scan) Level II

•Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in performing AUT C Scan inspections in industrial settings, preferably within the oil and gas, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.

•Proficiency in operating AUT equipment and familiarity with C Scan imaging software.

•Proficiency in operating AUT Solutions AccuScan, AccuTrak, or Bandit Scanning Equipment to acquire corrosion mapping type data on fixed equipment and pipping.

•Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex ultrasonic data and identify defects.

•Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

•Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate inspection results.

Education history:

•Valid U.S. driver's license and able to pass Motor Vehicle History Evaluations.

•Able to pass an FBI background verification in accordance with Company's Increased Controls program.

•Required to pass Company's Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures

•Required to pass Company's Written Practice certification process.
