Position Summary:
Acuren Inspection has an immediate need for certified Rope Access Technicians Operations in Torrance, CA. This is a nested full-time position

The Mechanical Rope Access certified Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Rope Access Technician Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level I, II, or III
Assist other technicians as required
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Competencies:
Willingness to learn and improve
Team orientation
Ability to work productively in adverse conditions
Requirements:
IRATA/SPRAT Level I, II, or III Certification required including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling
NDT Certifications in ( MT, PT , UT , RT ) is a plus
NCCER Certifications in any craft is a plus
Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
Must possess an authentic SPRAT and/or IRATA Level I, II, or III certificate, ID, & logbook.
Preferred technician with a combined knowledge & experience handling mineral wool, glass wool, calcium silicate, aerogel, cryogel, pyrogel, etc.
Preferred personal with a combined knowledge & experience fabricating & attaching aluminum-stainless steel jacking & metal bandings.
Preferred individual with the NCCER Insulator certification (Trained Individual).
