We are seeking NDT Trainees and NDT Assistants for permanent work for one of our subsidiaries in Portland, Oregon. Additional NDT certifications are a plus.
Skills:
- Set up and utilize NDT Testing Equipment at a variety of client locations; fab shops, shipyards and more…
- Actively participate in International Inspection and Client Safety Programs
- Conduct NDT tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Organize and report test results
- Fill out daily reports and other documents in a timely, accurate manner
- Work independently and support team members
- Interface daily with client about work priorities and projects
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- NDT Assistants should have some previous experience working as an NDT Assistant. NDT Trainees should have decent mechanical abilities, math skills, and some level of reliable employment history.
- Technical Background in NDT methods and procedures preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned task and interpret results of inspections
- Knowledge of equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- MUST BE US Citizen
