Applied Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an API inspector with experience in Mechanical Integrity programs within industrial facilities In the Albany, NY area.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position will be to act as the on-site Mechanical Integrity (MI) Program Organizer at an industrial facility located in Albany, NY. This position will report directly to the site and will work with the existing on-site MI Team. No travel will be required since all work will be at the same location Mo-Fri (40 hours per week). Daily activities include:

• Work in PSAim software
• Create new equipment ID’s within PSAim database
• Updating equipment files with drawings, U1 forms, TML maps
• Scan and file drawings, U1 forms, and other pertinent data
• Perform API inspections and verify drawing accuracy that is on file

Requirements:
• At least one of the following certifications: API-510, API-570, API-653
• 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Integrity
• Experience with PSAim or Meridium software
• Hands-on API inspection experience
• Good oral and written skills a must
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Dependable, team oriented, and have a positive attitude
• Familiarity with API and ASME tank and pressure vessel construction codes
• Knowledge in Compress
• Knowledge in AutoCAD
