This is a full-time, embedded position in a new facility which may be eligible for relocation assistance to Monaca, PA. Monaca is an appealing town located on the banks of the Ohio River, only 25 miles outside of Pittsburgh. Monaca offers affordable housing, excellent schools and a variety of outdoor activities.
Position Summary
Acuren Inspection is looking for a qualified Rope Access III Supervisor to lead a four-person maintenance team. The Rope Access Level III Supervisor is responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, to organize work functions specific to rope access jobs, and to supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.
Responsibilities
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Be conversant with relevant work techniques
Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III
Assist other technicians as required
Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Education & Experience
IRATA or SPRAT Level III Certification required including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling
NDT Certification preferred
Valid drivers' license preferred
Required certification levels for specific projects
Willingness to learn and improve
Team orientation
Ability to work productively in adverse conditions
Physically and mentally fit
