We are seeking a strong Level II UT Shearwave Technician with a solid NDE background which includes Level II certifications in UT, MT, and PT. This job entails performing NDE services on a large variety of small scope projects in the building construction industry.
You will be dispatched to multiple job sites in a single work day. This requires someone who understands that daily driving is a big part of this job. This is a fast paced job and requires a technician to be flexible with changing scheduling needs and high communication levels with dispatcher.
This position is for a senior technician to perform the following NDE methods in accordance with I.R.C. written practice and primarily for AWS D1.1 building code related components.
Ultrasonic Testing (Longitudinal and Shear Wave)
Magnetic Particle Testing (Dry / Yoke Method)
Liquid Penetrant Testing
Additional on-the-job training will be provided after you have successfully become employed in the disciplines of:
Structural Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
Underground Utility Locating
Qualified Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and exhibit excellent communication and report writing skills. Ability to read blueprints and understanding of job specific codes and specifications is required.

Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Solid NDE background which includes Level II certifications in UT,MT,PT
Good Communication skills is a MUST, customer service oriented
Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision
Must conduct their work in a safe and consistent manner
Must be proficient in WINDOWS O/S, MS WORD / EXCEL, OUTLOOK
Must posess excellent written report writing skills, be readily available to communicate via cell phone, text, email during working hours and some after hours
Cant be afraid of heights
Current Drivers License with clean driving record
Must have reliable transportation
Preferred minimum of 5 years construction related experience
Must understand Blue Print Reading and be able to effectively interface with customers regarding specific job requirements
