Position Summary
*Perform external and internal visual inspections of fixed equipment
*Execution of inspection programs, such as Ultrapipe, to assess and monitor the mechanical integrity of fixed equipment
*Analyze, interpret, document, and communicate the results of inspection data
*Provide inspection input and support to design and project engineering
*Develop turnaround/shutdown worklists for fixed equipment
*Generate job scopes for equipment repairs
*Conduct quality assurance activities on new construction and all repair projects
*Assist in conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) of fixed equipment failures and RBI assessments, share and apply learnings for sustainable improvement
*Develop a working understanding of the corrosion mechanisms and mitigation options for the plant
Skills:
*Certified by examination in accordance with the American Petroleum Institute (API) in either API 510 or API 570 or certification by the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC)
*5+ years experience in the inspection of fixed equipment in the petrochemical industry
