Supervise 12 - 15 structural welders at small shipyard building tugs, ferries and passenger vessels up to 250 ft. long. Primarily new steel construction with some aluminum work. Hull fabrication mostly inside building shed. Openings on 1rst and 2nd shifts.
Skills:
Familiar with SMAW, Fluxcore, Dual-shield, Tig and arc-gouging. Experience with ABS and USCG welding rules and standards. Ability to perform visual inspection, troubleshoot problems and enforce welding procedures and standards.
