Welding Technology (5460)
This program prepares the student for entry-level employment in a variety of occupations in the welding industry. The content includes, but is not limited to, communication skills, human relations, employability skills, safe and efficient work practices, reading blueprints, identifying metals and basic shop skills. Shop activities are an integral part of this program and provide instruction in the various processes and fabrication skills, including torch cutting, arc welding, MIG welding, Flux Core welding, TIG welding, pipe welding, certification test preparation,

Magnetic Analysis Corporation has over seventy years experience as a leader in non-destructive testing. We developed the first American made system using electromagnetic principles for the detection of flaws in steel products. Since then, MAC has grown to become a major source of NDT services and equipment for testing metals. Our technology encompasses eddy-current, electromagnetic, flux-leakage and ultrasonic methods.
Dedicated to a production oriented approach to testing, MAC offers both individual instruments and complete systems that incorporate materials handling as well as non-destru
Federal Engineering Associates is a distributor of advanced laser ESPI (Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry) products for non-contact full-field measurement of strain, stress, and vibration amplitude and phase; and patented high-sensitivity Shearography for non-contact inspection of metals, composites, ceramics, and hybrid structures. Unique data fusion capabilities provide cartesian orientation of measurement data and unlimited field of view. Typical uses include reduction of design cycles, finite element analysis validation and optimization, bead-to-bead inspection of rubber tires, a

Sonic Sensors specializes in the design and manufacture of ultrasonic testing equipment
using ElectroMagnetic Acoustic Transducers, abbreviated EMAT. The EMAT is a
non-contact method of generating and receiving ultrasonic waves in metals. The EMAT is
non-contact because it communicates with the surface through electromagnetic forces.
Therefore, EMATs do not need couplant and work well on rough or coated surfaces.
The only requirement of the sample is it be conductive. High temperature evaluations are
readily performed with an EMAT. Sonic Sensors has a complete line of high temperature
