Veritank provides in-service inspections of aboveground storage tanks for the Refining and Midstream sectors. We use autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV’s) equipped with a non-destructive testing (NDT) platform that provides our customers with precise data, critical to the protection and longevity of their most vital assets.
Our comprehensive NDT platform provides our clients with precise, trusted data. Our Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) is capable of measuring and characterizing a range of defects with unparalleled accuracy. Results from this device meet API 653 qualification standards. Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) is the perfect tool for scanning areas with high levels of sedimentation where quality UT data is unattainable.
Our robot was designed for the express purpose of operating in challenging spaces. The onboard navigation system is a collection of sophisticated sonar devices that provides our autonomous robot with the ability to accurately map its surroundings in GPS denied environments. The robot is equipped with large, omni-directional wheels that allow the vehicle to traverse rough, uneven terrain without compromising valuable NDT data gathering as well as Powerful and efficient thrusters that allow for stable maneuvering at altitude.
