Trenchless Technology and Robotic Sewer Inspection home | about | services | history | news & events | contact Technology put to work. Trenchless Technology solutions for pipe inspection, cleaning, & rehabilitation There is a tremendous need to rehabilitate sewer and water lines. There are over 1.2 million miles of sewer pipe and approximately 880 thousand miles of water distribution pipe in the United States alone. Most systems were designed with a 50 to 100 year lifecycle and the majority were laid shortly after World War II. Public and private agencies responsible for these infrastructures are pressed to prevent failures and service disruptions while minimizing maintenance costs. This can only be accomplished through efficient planning that concentrates focus on those areas that face the most need. RedZone's trenchless technology inspection services provide measurable data that allows agencies to better understand the state of their current systems. Click here to find out more about RedZone's solutions. RedZone Robotic Services is currently using its Responder system to inspect 36" or larger infrastructures. The Responder uses a variety of trenchless technology sensors to gather measurable data while the collection and conveyance systems remain in service. Our data is retrieved and stored in a synchronized format and used by engineers around the country to help make strategic rehabilitation decisions in pipes that were thought to have been inaccessible. Due to the amount of pipe we can inspect per day, and our interchangeable digital platform design, we deliver all of these benefits at approximately the same cost of a standard CCTV inspection enabling us to pass along our increased capabilities at no additional cost.
