Your part is never exposed to air at any step of the process ...so you get no carbon in your magnetic iron parts, minimum retained austenite on cryogenically quenched parts, zero to .0005" maximum white layer in nitriding. We'll handle even the toughest micro-tolerance parts by helping you pre-plan your dimensions for normal size changes which occur in hardening and tempering.
