Objective I am seeking employment as a Customer QA Representative, Consultant, Superintendent or any area of Supervision my Experience and Qualifications permit. I am a highly motivated professional, experienced as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Planner/Consultant, and third party QA representative. I have served the previous four years as contract 3rd Party Representative with Final Acceptance oversight in most all types of E & P, refinery, petro-chemical, power generation and civil construction projects, outages or upgrades.

3rd Party QA Inspector or Piping Superintendant – Equipment, Piping, New Construction
Perform as 3rd Party Inspector in support of plant “Turn Arounds” & “Shut Down” Projects. Turnkey set up, Supervision and Management of all quality aspects of project-from rod control, qualification of WPS’s, welders, vendors & suppliers to satisfy client expectations and standards. Audit and/or assemble packages for equipment & piping final acceptance testing in petro-chemical, power-plants and refinery upgrades, expansions, outages or TAR’s. Supervise General Foreman & crews in execution of construction or demolition work in support of Plant Turnarounds & Outages.
Perform surveillance and auditing of Suppliers, Contractors and Vendors. Monitor welding contractors and direct 3rd party NDE/PWHT crews to verify compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulations and/or project requirements. Review 3rd party NDE reports, x-ray film (interpretation), graphs and/or charts to assure accuracy and acceptability. Compose Testing Procedures and ITP’s (Inspection & Testing Plans)
Civil Work - Monitor concrete crews and inspect forms, re-bar, aggregate and insure mix complies with specifications. Verification of all facets - batch times, temperatures, wet density, truck numbers and related documentation are acceptable. Record cylinder numbers for 7, 14 or 28 day break tests & insure “hold cylinders” are poured. Witness or perform slump & break testing and document results. Assure pouring, vibration & finishing techniques are properly performed.

Conduct general duties of QA: Random VT/PT/MT/PMI of weldments, fit-ups, bolted or welded Tie-Points. Verify that specified Bolts, Studs, Nuts & Gaskets are used and properly assembled, tightened or torque’d to insure joint integrity of system-with No Leaks at Start-up. Prepare forms & packages to insure compliance in ASME/NBIC alterations & repair work-Code or Non-Code. Assembly and collection of data for analysis of piping systems & equipment for corrosion tracking reports and system integrity documentation.
P & ID walk down of systems reported as complete by Contractors to verify all work is complete and that Valves, Instrumentation, Tracing, Insulation, Refractory and Coatings are correct, applied and installed per ITP, Engineering and Core Specifications. Check flow direction of Unions, Check Valves, Globe Valves, Spring Cans and etc. are installed correctly and meet customer requirements. Track and Document all installations and repairs of rotating or fixed equipment, piping, towers, reactors, heaters, drums and vessels. Inspection of Any Type equipment, service or material within work scope and ITP-to include structural steel, sumps, drains and cooling water (and cooling tower) systems
Conduct Level I, II, & III platform inspections, ABS inspections & repairs. Marine and inland industrial coatings and inspections-“Jeeping”, Holiday, DFT and etc.-Wet or Dry. Supervision of underwater diving operations, welding, NDE testing and demolition methods.
