Roles & Responsibilities: Quality Control Manager / AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – Coordination with site construction manager and Inspection of all construction related tasks including contract review and implementation, procedure writing, submittals, field survey review, plumbing and civil inspection including 3rd party testing oversight and batch plant verification, structural steel inspection including high-strength bolting and AWS D1.1 Welding, mechanical oversight involving static equipment; rotating, electrical and instrumental equipment, ASME B31.1 and Section I Piping, AI and NDE Coordination, PWHT, weld and flange mapping, welder qualification testing, procedure testing and WPS development in accordance with ASME IX, Electrical and Instrumentation oversight including continuity checks, megger testing, cable tray installation, Hipot testing and grounding verification, and commissioning / ECC packages

Nicor Gas Company - Schererville, IN / Birmingham, Al and Baton Rouge, LA

Project Description: Gas distribution terminal Piping, 200,000 Feet of 24” X65 Pipe, 80,000 Feet of 24” X70 Pipe to enable Gas Distribution in northern Illinois.

Role & Responsibilities: Lead Inspector over 3rd party inspection for all Visual and destructive testing performed during the rolling and forming of all piping Materials/Coils per API-5L X65, X70 – Inspected and tested all FBE Coating and PowerCrete Coatings for all 280,000 feet of pipe as well as adhering to cure times, inspecting internal coating, gathering mill data, and creating the final inspection release notes.

Energy Transfer Partners / Sunoco LP - Nederland, TX

Project Description: 6” Natural Gas Pipeline (Above ground) – 4” Nitrogen (Underground) Pipeline, 20” Pig Launcher and Receiver.

Role & Responsibilities: Project representative, performed visual inspection of welding before, during and after NDE was performed According to API-1104. Completed daily reports of all activities throughout the day as well as all obstacles that occurred during the project, Witnessed Inspection on Hot Tap / In-service Welding as well as excavation for project. Witnessed Hydrostatic Testing for all phases of project. Documented and created all Weld mapping, Heat mapping, and Flange mapping to be utilized in the complete data package.

SpaceX - Beaumont, TX and Brownsville, TX

Project Description: Launch Pad Cooling System Piping and Rocket blast diversion systems for SpaceX at the Boca Chika Launch Site to facilitate Space launch testing.

Role & Responsibilities: Quality Inspector – responsible for oversight on piping fabrication, establishing hold points and in-process examination points for inspection & test plans, qualified welding procedures, performed Preheating, PWHT and Maintenance oversight for piping and Fuel rocket Diversion systems. Coordination with SpaceX engineering with progress and RFI’s – documented all weld mapping and heat mapping.

Project Description: Ethane Cracker Project Piping
Role & Responsibilities: Quality Inspector / Materials Management – Providing QA/QC for pipe fabrication activities as well as on site erection, Coordinated NDE and Materials for entire project, coordinated with survey crewman for underground piping pathway, documented all weld mapping, heat number tracking, Witnessed Hydrotesting of completed pipe packages.

Role & Responsibilities: Quality Inspector / Materials Management - Providing QA/QC for pipe fabrication activities as well as on site erection, Coordinated NDE, PWHT Activities and documented Material testing reports etc. As a team collaborated in a demolition plan (Identifying and removal of pipe sequence, safety procedures) Established coordination with refinery management. Witnessed hydrotest of completed piping packages.
