Shall retain primary responsibility for the R/A work site; and R/A personnel.Retain primary responsibility to ensure and verify assigned tasks are accomplished, and may also perform duties of R/A technician to the extent that it does not prevent affective performance of the R/A supervisor’s duties and responsibilities. Be responsible for immediate supervision, implementation, and oversight of R/A program at the worksite.Has sufficient knowledge of current regulations that apply, to R/A and working at heights, to ensure compliance by the employees being supervised. Communicate and coordinate with clients and their safety representatives regarding R/A safety and rescue procedures, identify all hazards, specify the means at such hazards to be controlled or eliminated. Complete all required planning documentation, including work permits, JSA, and rescue plans as directed by R/A Program Administrator. Review all procedures prior to work as activities change, determine if additional practices, procedures, or training bid needed to continue work. Specify the appropriate R/A equipment, R/A systems and supervise their installation, use and inspection. Shall be responsible for onsite rescue, insuring prompt rescue, and managing or performing any rescue that may be required. Document and validate employees R/A hours, perform any duties designated in the employers rope access program. Where it is determined that the use of ancillary rescue capability in the event rescue needed during R/A operations.
