Certified Level II in UT Perform ultrasonic inspections of composite parts, including carrying out and recording the required checks of in-use materials, cleaning of parts prior to inspection, post-cleaning of parts, and maintenance of equipment. Support Ultrasonic testing, pulse-echo straight beam (compression) on both new product development and continuing production. Perform and interpret NDT inspections on composite fuel line products per applicable test processes and procedures. Coordinate as necessary with UT-Level 1 or 2 personnel per NAS-410 requirements for assigned product responsibilities. Participate in development of test requirements for Ultrasonic testing. Assist in the identifying non-conforming product corrective and preventive action process by working with other departments to develop effective solutions to problems. Review drawing releases and changes to ensure all test requirements are correct and that Ultrasonic test requirements can be met.
