Ionix Appoints Aaron Greenbank as Business Development Manager

Leading manufacturer of high temperature piezoelectric ceramics and ultrasound devices, Ionix, has appointed a new Business Development Manager as it looks to expand its on-stream inspection solutions into global markets.
Ionix has announced the arrival of Aaron Greenbank, who will join the Ionix Commercial team in the role of Business Development Manager, with responsibilities for North American and European markets.
Aaron brings with him a wealth of experience of NDT with a strong technical and commercial background, including roles at Olympus and EddyFi, the latter in the role of Sales Director. Aaron’s arrival coincides with the successful launch of the popular HS582i last year, and the growth of a range of novel NDT products designed to enable on-stream thickness and crack inspection, adding to its suite of corrosion monitoring sensors and systems.
Ionix specialises in the design and production of high-performance sensors and piezoelectric materials that can operate in high temperatures and extreme environments to monitor plant and machinery integrity.
Commenting on the appointment, Ionix CEO, David Astles, said: "The last few months has seen huge uptake of our latest product, the HotSense™ HS582i, high-temperature dual element thickness gauging transducer, so Aaron has joined at a crucial time within the business. His extensive NDT experience and commercial background will help us break into new markets across North America and Europe."
