– the STRAHL Pole Mounted Inspection Camera.
Featuring a telescopic pole with integrated 1/3" Sony CCD image sensor, 8 high-
output LED lights and a compact image hub with a 4" color LCD display, the new
pole camera is designed to meet the requirements of most remote visual
inspections. Its compact size, outstanding affordability and high performance
make it stand out from the many viewing devices available on the market today.
It can be used for a wide range of applications and exploring different hard-to-
access sites, such as: tanks, vessels, water wells, pipelines, sewers, roofs,
ceilings, shafts, bridges, behind walls and under doors, in collapsed buildings
and during security searches – the list of applications is virtually limitless. And
since it is a fully waterproof system, it is also ideal for various underwater and
submersion inspections.
The telescopic pole extends from 0.95m to 2.2m providing easy access to hard-
to-reach areas. All the functions can be easily performed by a push of a button
conveniently located right under operator’s fingers with images being displayed
in real-time mode on the integrated display with 180 degree rotation. The
inspection data can also be recorded for future use, stored to an SD memory
card or transferred to a computer or a larger monitor by means of a USB or RCA
cable.
The STRAHL inspection camera is completely waterproof and comes in a stainless
steel housing. The non-slip handle offers tight grip of the camera, which is
especially important during underwater or prolonged inspections. The camera is
light (1.5 kg), compact and extremely easy to use regardless of the operator’s
level of expertise. It runs on a rechargeable lithium battery offering up to 8
hours of uninterrupted operation.
