National Inspection & Consultants, LLC, is currently hiring level II MT/VT Technicians for a long term assignment in Newport News, VA. NAVSEA is a plus!
Responsibilities:.
- You will conduct MT and VT inspections on new construction Virginia Class Submarine parts. (light grinding may be required by technicians to prove nonrelevance of indications).
Requirements:
- Must have current MT and VT certifications
- Must be willing to work assigned shifts and meet all certification/qualification requirements.
- Must have the ability to pass pre-hire drug/alcohol testing and have a satisfactory background check.
- Must be able to climb vertical ladders, crawl in tanks and confined spaces and perform inspections at heights.
- Must have experience with OSHA regulations and familiarity within the shipbuilding industry.
