We are currently hiring an Ultrasonic Testing Technician Level II at our Cudahy, Wisconsin location.
As an Ultrasonic Testing Technician, you will be responsible for conducting testing and inspections of specialty components using water immersion ultrasonic testing on components for aerospace jet engines and other high-performance applications to detect flaws, defects and discontinuities in materials and components. This role requires an advanced understanding of ultrasonic testing principals and techniques including the set up and operation of immersion equipment. You will also interpret and report results in compliance to company standards and customer specifications.
Must be flexible with availability. Will be assigned specific shift following completion of training. The assigned shift may be Weekdays 1st or 2nd shift (Mon - Thurs); Weekend Days or Weekend Nights shift (Fri -Sun)
Essential Functions:
Responsible for daily immersion ultrasonic setups, examination, and testing of components to determine acceptability of material and product.
Examine product for possible internal or external defects
Follow established testing procedures and safety protocols to ensure accurate and reliable inspections.
Record ultrasonic signals, analyze test results ad interpret data to identify any defects, discontinuities, or material inconsistencies.
Scan procedures in order to accomplish ultrasonic setups, tests, and reporting.

Skills:
Basic Qualifications
• Certified as an Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level II
• Immersion techniques
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications)
• Military experience
• Advanced ultrasonic techniques such as NAS 410, phased array or sheer wave.
• Prior exposure to the NDT field
Skills
• Pre-existing understanding and knowledge of ultrasonic testing equipment operation
• Mechanically inclined
• Attention to detail
• Computer Skills
