We are seeking NDT Level II FPI Readers to perform routine inspections of manufactured superalloy castings.
This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity located in New Jersey.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED or equivalent is required
- Level II Certification in accordance with NAS-410
- Must have 2 or more years related FPI experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have familiarity with aerospace specs and procedures.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the ITAR. All applicants must be US citizen.
Basic Qualifications for Level II:
- Certificate with the following info.
- - Certificate date
- - Expiration date (must be on the Certificate)
- - NDT Method of certification
- - Signed by Level 3
- - Documents what specifications have been satisfied
- - In Accordance With (I/A/W):
- OJT (On the job training) Records
- - Document proving the required hours have been accrued
- - Affidavit of OJT qualification can be used if letter is written by contracting Level 3
- EYE EXAM
- - Jaeger 1 @ 12’ minimum
- - Color Perception (Ishihara)
- - Grey Scale Perception (Skerik)
