Advex Corporation has a requirement for a qualified NDT Level III Manager/Examiner to manage and oversee the overall NDT Program. As a minimum, the candidate must have an ASNT NDT Level III qualification in UT-Shear Wave and an additional Level III qualification in VT, PT, MT or RT. Experience with NAVSEA Tech Pub 271 very desirable.
Advex is expanding our Nondestructive Testing Department to handle future needs and further develop existing and emerging processes to support the Navy Submarine and Aircraft Carrier construction programs. We are looking for an experienced Level III to assist in that expansion. Advex is very excited about the opportunities these programs bring to our Nondestructive Testing capabilities.
The candidate will be expected to conduct overall management of the NDT Department to include the following:
1. Time keeping for NDT personnel.
2. Estimate costs of services whether in-house or conducting outside service support of client base.
3. Interpret various Nondestructive Test Standards to determine requirements for procedures and personnel.
4. Review and modify existing Nondestructive Test procedures to conform to changes in Nondestructive Test Standards.
5. Develop new test procedures for various Nondestructive Test Standards.
6. Ability to qualify, certify and maintain certification of Level I and Level II Advex inspection personnel.
7. Conduct audits and surveillance of NDT methods for Level II personnel.
8. Ability to conduct training of NDT personnel to various methods.
9. Review sub tier NDT procedures and standard practices for acceptance.

1. Current ASNT Level III in UT and one additional method such as VT, PT, MT or RT, or other acceptable certification in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A.
2. College Degree, High School Diploma, GED or industrial school certificate.
3. Valid Driver's License.
4. Able to pass drug tests.
5. Able to pass or obtain an FBI background check and security clearance.
6. Must be able to lift, carry and transport 75 lbs.
7. Must have documentation to support qualifications in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A, or equivalent documentation.
8. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
9. Good communication skills.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
