Applied Technical Services Inc. We are looking for a full time Level III technician in at least Four (4) NDT methods to primarily oversee activities for the Jacksonville NAVSEA Clients. This position would be responsible for personnel certifications, training and reporting in our Jacksonville office. Additional responsibilities to include onsite oversite of all technicians and client level III services.

Summary:
ATS will support obtaining Level III certifications if necessary. The Level III will be responsible for assisting with lab inspections and supporting customer’s daily requirements. Collect, manage, and evaluate test data for accuracy and consistency. Maintain and report test results. Complete reports and documentation as required. Maintain active involvement with JASRA and other industry orgazanitions.

Must be able to read technical documents such as Mil-STD’s/NAVSEA technical publications. Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures. Skills:
Minimum Qualifications

◾4 level III’s with experience in testing equipment, testing procedures, and the ability to perform tests and properly document results.
◾Experience in NAVSEA MIL-STD
◾Ability to use computers for data entry
◾Working knowledge of variety of NDT disciplines
◾Ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to solve problems
◾Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
◾Ability to train ATS and other personnel.
◾Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
Applicants must complete a drug screen and have a valid driver license with a clean driving record.

Education:
◾High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years of experience or willing to train on non-destructive testing (NDT) also dimensional and performance testing procedures.
◾Level III in at least four NDT methods

Work Conditions
◾Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
◾Will be required to support all aspects of the JNS.
◾Ability to schedule and oversee production manning for JNS.
◾Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
◾Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations.
