The main purpose of the Integrity Engineer (IE) role is to implement the Corrosion and Inspection Management Strategy, to oversee the integrity of topside pressure systems and to liaise with operations, maintenance and project teams on the condition and Fitness For Service of topside systems.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
Develop inspection workscopes and workpacks for Topside Systems including circuitization of systems and identifying test points
Execute and compile risk assessments, and associated inspection schedules
Manage information sharing on defects and fitness for service of systems between integrity team and operations, maintenance and project teams
Manage integrity related Management of Changes (MOC) and local integrity consultancy
Delivery of project compliance in line with client management practices
Responsible for the monitoring and reporting of KPIs, managing and updating of the anomaly registers, and coordinating anomaly sign-off
Monitor and report program progress
Generate weekly and monthly management reports
Liaise with Houston technical authorities and other disciplines leads as deemed necessary
Conduct anomaly assessment and fitness for service evaluations
Coordinate and manage of inspection and topside inspection team
Prepare and update inspection programs and provide budget inputs
Manage integrity inspections and NDT contractor services.
Determine suitable and appropriate inspection techniques and frequencies
Maintain inspection results and anomaly assessment data
Setup, populate Manage and maintain integrity databases
Review inspection findings. Assess and report anomalies. Prepares integrity statements and strategies
Determine integrity support team work scope and associated deliverables
Co-ordinate integrity failure investigations
Has the authority on behalf of client to stop work if in his / her sole opinion the work is not being carried out in a safe manner. In the event that such action is deemed necessary he/she should advise both the Offshore Installation Manager and Offshore Facilities Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years experience in integrity management in the oil and gas industry with a particular emphasis on offshore topsides
Have a wide breadth and depth of knowledge within the oil and gas inspection or engineering industry with proven skills in project management
Good understanding of NDT techniques and in-service application of NDT
Working familiarity of API RP14E, 510, 570, 571, 572, 574, 5L, 576, 577, 582, 520, 580, 581, 653, AWS D1.1
Working familiarity of ASME B31.3, B16, Norsok L-001, Norsok L-004-CR, Norsok M-601, Norsok M-501 ASME VIII
Familiarization of IRATA, SPRAT rope access requirements and requirements for confined space entry
Working knowledge of compiling task risk assessments and hazard evaluations
Competent in the use of risk assessment software and tools
Competent in the evaluation of pressure system Fitness for Service in accordance with API 579
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Engineering or Science Degree, or equivalent
API 510/570 or CSWIP Plant Inspection Level 1 Required, Level 2 preferred
API 579 Fitness for Service Level I and II
The prospective employee is expected to participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities that involve process design, process technology, operational and maintenance activities and procedures, non-routine activities and procedures, emergency preparedness plans and procedures, training programs, and other elements which could impact the process. Other elements of PSM which may touch the employee consist of:

Essential Personal Qualities
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Ability to motivate and direct a team using persuasion and influence.
Ability to interact and work effectively in the field with a team of individuals from varying backgrounds and cultures.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
