Swiss CNC Engineering Technician – swiss cnc lathe, programming, troubleshooting

Our client is looking for candidates who have come up the ranks on swiss cnc lathes to join their R&D / process development engineering department. This position will focus on selecting cutting tools, processing, programming and set up of new products. We are searching for candidates with 5 years of experience setting up and programming Star, Citizen, Tornos Deco, Hanwha or Tsugami swiss type lathes. The Engineering Technician will work on all new swiss lathes and develop the process / program prior to production. Trainable candidates will learn machine problem solving, debugging and programming techniques of the latest state of the art swiss cnc lathes. The position will work with vendors and engineers to develop the optimum processes prior to production. Good communication skills and ability to work with employees at all levels is required. This is a non-production position that offers career growth. Interested candidates will need strong computer and CNC programming skills.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of swiss CNC programming. Knowledge of setting up new processes and process debugging is also required. The position offers training on the new models of swiss CNC lathes, however, we are looking for solid experience. Our client will take your experience to a whole new level!
