Location: North Providence, RI

A long time growing Rhode Island company is searching for an experienced Supervisor due to the retirement of a valued employee. We are searching for candidates with past experience managing the employees and production in a machining environment. This opportunity offers career advancement for the right candidate. Knowledge of machining, cutting tools and solid problem solving skills is required. The idea candidate will have 5 years plus managing and motivating 30 plus employees. This position involves planning, scheduling of machinists, troubleshooting, machine efficiencies, ensuring quality, training of company procedures and on-time delivery in a fast paced environment. We are looking for self-motivated employees who are striving to take their careers to a new level. Strong communication and documentation skills are needed to keep track of employees and production records. Interested candidates should have some basic knowledge of cutting tools and machining operations. High volume machining is a big plus.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of production supervision and experienced managing a minimum of 30 plus employees. Candidates will need a basic understanding of machining operations.
