Responsibilities:
Responsible for all duties as indicated in the Collicutt Energy ABSA Quality Control Manual in the day – to – day operation
Performs all hold point and final inspections on pressure piping, vessels, and structural construction
Coordinates all quality control paperwork for pressure equipment
Prepares vessel construction documentation for approval by ABSA Authorized Inspector,(AI)including CRN’s and MTR’s
Coordinates Authorized Inspector (AI), Client Inspector and/or third party contractors to witness the Hydrostatic Test
Assists with the preparation of all Client quality Control packages, deviation reports and MTR’s
Ability to plan QC activities and interact with other departments
Other tasks as assigned by the QC Manager such as outsourcing and refurbishing
Ability to develop procedures for process improvement
Education/Training:
Welding Engineering Technologist Diploma preferred
CSA 178.2 Welding Inspector Levels I, II & III or working towards it

CWB accredited Welding Supervisor
Applicable Industry Training
Good understanding of applicable ASME and CWB codes as they pertain to the fabrication of structural, pressure vessels and process piping equipment
Strong computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
Knowledgeable in reading and understanding P & ID’s, piping plans, elevations, piping isometrics and engineering drawings
Exceptional communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong organizations skills with the ability to organize and monitor multiple jobs at once
An extremely detailed person with a high regard to presentation and an absolute desire for customer satisfaction
A Team Player with a positive attitude
