QA MANAGER
· QA Manager to perform as the responsible quality leader for Suction Strainer Vendor Audit, and fabrication oversight, and team adherence to GE programmatic requirements in France and the US. Must be bilingual French/English.
· Must have through working knowledge of Welding and NDE methods PT, MT, RT, ET and be QC Mechanical Inspector qualified and certified to ANSI N45.2.6 Level III.
· Will re-certify at our Huntersville, NC facility and then work between San Jose, CA and various sites in France.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· Minimum high school graduation and 15 years experience in Quality Assurance or Quality related activities.
· Fluent in the French language.
· QC Mechanical Inspector qualified and certified to ANSI N45.2.6 Level III, in NDE methods PT, MT, RT, ET and have working knowledge of Welding.
· Demonstrate and maintain customer focused QA team environment and resolve customer quality concerns.
· Work with engineering and project personnel in defining specific product quality requirements.
· Develop inspection, verification and qualification devices, tests and processes to assure products and services can reliably meet all requirements of internal and external customers.
· Actively participate in problem definition, investigation/measure, analysis, and solution of complex process problems to resolve quality issues.
· Recommend and implement changes to improve processes and product quality, optimize production of quality at the source, and eliminate failures/losses.
· Write and review technical quality documents, plans and procedures.
· Maintain quality assurance programs and procedures, and assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Provide work direction and supervision to quality personnel as needed.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Extensive international travel is required throughout France. Must be able to obtain unescorted access at Nuclear Power Plants. Per Diem and travel cost paid; paid 20 hours travel time to/from site and OT is paid.
