Business Development Manager – sales, market development, orthopedics, medical devices
Rapidly growing division of a successful corporation is searching for a team member. This division supplies major OEM’s with close tolerance high precision surgical implants. This is a high tech ISO-13485 / FDA certified manufacturing operation providing world class quality and service. They have built a team of highly successful associates with experience executing the development of new products. This facility is located in PA. They will consider on-site or remote candidates with direct experience selling medical devices, strong technical skills, marketing, forecasting, strategic planning, prospecting and communication skills is needed. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the development of sales strategies, goals and long term planning to continue the growth of this division. This manager works to acquire new customer through prospecting, cold calling, networking, trade shows and other sales methodologies. We are searching for a strong coordinator to ensure timely quotations and lead cross functional teams. Experience managing customer expectations and cultivating strong customer relationships to form sustainable, long term business partnerships. The Business Development Manager will provide research in market trends, forecasting market changes and how to position this division to capitalize on changes. This Manager manages entire projects and requirements from receiving PO’s to delivery. Past experience working with all appropriate customer departments at all levels of major OEM’s including purchasing, engineering, quality and marketing.
MUST HAVE: a Bachelors degree, 5 years plus of successful account development, cold calling and relationship building experience selling medical devices, medical components, surgical products, healthcare equipment or related products is a must;. Thirst for success is needed. Reviewing designs or prints is strongly preferred.
